Labor Day
Ahhhh.... Labor Day weekend! It signifies the end of summer, the last hoorah before settling in for the fall and winter seasons. Jer and I spent a much needed weekend relaxing together. We went to Heber and watched the Sheep Dog Trials. It was amazing to see such athletic dogs. We also spent some time up in Millcreek Canyon. The weather was perfect, the leaves were green, and the hike was a little tougher than we thought but it had a fun lake at the end. Tess entertained us swimming after her ball. She loved being out in the water. I also put up my first peaches. I LOVE bottled peaches and so this year with Jan to teach us Britt and I bottled fresh peaches. They look beautiful and I am sure will taste even better. Truly there is nothing better than peaches and milk and a piece of toast for breakfast. The summer was so fun, Labor Day was great as well. But the best part was being with family!

What a wonderful day that was for me, too. I love sharing the kitchen with you. Your pics are so great and the story is even better.
Love you so much.
