Summer is Here!

Bell Canyon Hike
Having fun near the water!

Kendra and the kids on the way up to hike!

So, it has been forever and I am sure that you are all waiting for the "After" pictures of our front and backyard! Well we have been working hard and it has paid off! Our planter box is in full bloom and the ponds look amazing now that Jer spent a Saturday with pond scum up to his knees! We even bought some new baby fish! Life is good and even though we have done nothing else but yard work the last couple of weeks it really has been worth it.
I am out of school, finally and am enjoying some time off. I start working with Rowland Hall next week. I am almost moved out of my old classroom. I can't tell you how excited I am to be moving into a brand new school and classroom! No more relocatable for me! Jer is happy in his new office and things are still going well there! He had a blast at Lake Powell with all the guys! He took some awesome pictures... I want to go now!
Over Memorial Day weekend we had a fun BBQ down at Trent and Jen's house. We were sad to have to say good bye to Miss Haillie for the summer but we hope she has fun and can't wait until she gets back!
A couple of weeks ago we got to go on a nice little hike with the Dyer and Lewis families. We had so much fun! Taytum, Elle, and Weston did such a great job hiking! We are so lucky to have family close.
Just this past weekend we got to meet baby Sailor! Congrats to Landon and Britt they have a beautiful baby. It was so fun to see them with her. It is going to be a great adventure and they are going to make Sailor very happy as I am sure she will make them very happy too!

The planter box with its pavers and moss.
The flowers are growing and loving the rain!
Isn't Tess cute?
